Cititrans is one of Indonesia's leading intercity transportation providers, offering online ticket booking through its website and digital platforms. As digital acquisition became increasingly important, reliable conversion measurement was essential to understanding user behavior and evaluating marketing performance. My role focused on auditing and optimizing the analytics implementation to ensure every critical interaction throughout the booking journey could be measured accurately.
The Challenge
An effective analytics setup is more than collecting events - it requires accurate, consistent, and reliable data across the entire customer journey. Key challenges included identifying gaps in the existing booking funnel tracking, ensuring key conversion events were captured consistently, improving event accuracy across Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, validating data quality before it reached reporting dashboards, and strengthening the overall measurement framework for future optimization initiatives.
